About Us
SPACE ENERGY leads the way in promoting a sustainable future for residential spaces. Our primary focus is to combat fuel poverty and reduce carbon emissions by implementing extensive retrofitting and energy-efficient strategies in properties throughout the United Kingdom.
With a wealth of expertise spanning over two decades in the retrofit industry, SPACE ENERGY is dedicated to supporting the UK government’s objective of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. We firmly believe in our responsibility to leave the world in a better state than we found it.
SPACE ENERGY has already provided assistance to numerous homeowners, social housing providers, private landlords, commercial organizations, house builders, local authorities, and energy suppliers. Through our efforts, we have successfully introduced eco-friendly measures and energy-saving solutions to thousands of homes across the UK, often with the help of ECO funding.
Driven by our commitment to a carbon-neutral future and our determination to combat fuel poverty, we aspire to transform every home into an environmentally conscious dwelling.
Services
The Retrofit coordinator oversees and manages the design of all retrofit projects.
Unlike cavity walls, solid walls are traditionally built before 1930 with no cavities or gaps in the middle.
Air Source Heat Pumps
A low-carbon way of heating your home
Air Source Heat Pumps
An air source heat pump is a type of heating system that is eco-friendly. It works by taking heat from the outside air and bringing it inside to heat your home.
Cavity Wall Extraction
For properties with failed insulation and no guarantee
Cavity Wall Extraction
Cavity wall insulation is commonly used to keep homes energy efficient, but it often becomes defective and damp over time or if not installed correctly and should be extracted.
Cavity Wall Insulation
Insulating your cavity wall to maintain an ambient temperature
Cavity Wall Insulation
Cavity walls can be insulated by injecting insulating material into the cavity from the outside through drilled holes in the outer walls. If your home was built after 1930 then it’s highly likely you have cavity walls and would benefit from cavity wall insulation.
Energy Efficient Boilers
Boilers designed to make the most of your fuel
Energy Efficient Boilers
Boiler efficiency is about how much usable heat you get from your boiler for every unit of energy you put into it. The more efficient your heating system, the less energy you’ll be using to heat your home.
First Time Central Heating
Get the most up-to-date heating technology
First Time Central Heating
Central heating is using centrally located equipment and ductwork or radiators to heat your home, this may be a furnace, a heat pump or a boiler. While Central Heating is commonplace, there are still homes that don’t use a centralised heating system.

Insulation Services
Effectively insulating your home will reduce your energy consumption and, in turn, lower your bills. Our team of experts are on hand to advise on the best way to improve your home’s insulation.
Loft Insulation
Prevents heat from escaping through your roof
Loft Insulation
Loft insulation is a thick mineral fibre material that lays between and over the joists in your loft or roof. It captures heat normally lost through the roof and stops draughts from getting in.
Renewables
Power your home with energy that is naturally regenerated
Renewables
Renewable energy is any technology that exclusively relies on an energy source that is naturally regenerated over a short time and derived from natural movements and mechanisms of the environment.
Retrofit Services
Full and in-depth retrofit survey of your home
Retrofit Services
PAS 2035 is the retrofit standard introduced in 2019 and is central to the implementation of domestic retrofit in the UK.
The Retrofit coordinator oversees and manages the design of all retrofit projects.
Room In Roof Insulation
Insulation for homes with converted loft spaces
Room In Roof Insulation
A quarter of heat is lost through the roof in an uninsulated home. Insulating your loft, attic or flat roof is an effective way to reduce heat loss and reduce your heating bills.
Solar PV Installation
Convert the sun’s energy into electricity for your home
Solar PV Installation
Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic cells made of silicon layers. The layers have different electronic properties that create an electric field when hit by photons from sunlight.
Solid Wall Insulation
Insulation for older buildings with solid walls
Solid Wall Insulation
Solid wall insulation is a way to improve the insulation of your home, reducing heat loss and importantly, keeping costs down.
Unlike cavity walls, solid walls are traditionally built before 1930 with no cavities or gaps in the middle.
Underfloor Insulation
Improving your homes energy efficiency by reducing drafts
Underfloor Insulation
Well installed underfloor insulation will mean your house will heat up quicker and lose heat slower. Underfloor insulation is a great way to keep your property warm. Approximately 15% of heat lost from homes is lost through the ground floor.
Window Insulation
Reduce the amount of heat lost through your windows
Window Insulation
Windows should offer both sunshine as well as ample thermal insulation. If your windows aren’t insulated or your current insulation is failing, your home can become draughty and damp. Adding an insulating layer can greatly reduce heat loss without having to replace your old windows.
How it Works
